I am responsible for supporting and configuring digital content and campaigns and measuring its effectiveness for marketing initiatives. I bridge the gap between the marketing and IT departments, creating and maintaining HTML/CSS content across all our digital marketing channels.
In collaboration with web designers, developers, and marketing specialists, I managed web content across various company platforms including our e-commerce sites, informational corporate sites, and consultant workstation (business tools). I worked daily with HTML and CSS in various content management systems including DotNetNuke. Some projects have included creating original CSS stylesheets for design updates to our corporate sites.
I maintained an online repository of resources for the company's independent consultant salesforce, while also assisting the copywriting team with proofing, editing, and file organization. Additionally, I helped with random tasks around the office, including acting as a courier, frequently handling the shipment of urgent, time-sensitive parcels.
Here I processed the shipping, receiving, and staging of merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment. Urgency and accuracy were vital to individual and team success. I also interacted with customers daily, helping them to identify the right products for their needs.
My first taste of start-up tech-company culture, I interned under ObservePoint's marketing executive assisting with research related to web analytics and trends relevant to the business. I helped monitor social media accounts and wrote material for the website, including new versions of the team biographies.
